In 2018 Columbus Merchant Banking and Zuma Advisors S.A. integrated their operations to create Columbus Zuma Investment Banking.
Columbus Zuma Investment Banking is an investment banking group, headquartered in Buenos Aires and with presence in Uruguay, focused on Corporate Finance, M&A, Capital Markets, Portfolio Management, Financial Advisory, Purchase of Securities and Shares, Alternative Investments and Research.
Columbus Merchant Banking was founded in late 2004 as an Investment Banking firm by the bankers responsible for Citigroup's Investment Banking businesses in Argentina and Uruguay.
Zuma Advisors S.A. was born in 2009, in the midst of the international financial crisis, when bankers from the Wealth Management and Corporate Banking sector of Lehman Brothers, redoubled their commitment to their vocation of service and entrepreneurial spirit, thus creating a new financial services company.
